Senior Program Manager, National Kidney Foundation of Michigan

Ann Andrews has worked at the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan (NKFM) for over 16 years and is currently a Senior Program Manager. She has 24 years of experience implementing quality improvement efforts in managed care, primary care, and public health settings. Ms. Andrews oversees federal grants to implement chronic disease self-management education and falls prevention programs and achieve sustainable funding for these programs from payers. Ms. Andrews also manages the NKM Patient Services department, which includes efforts to increase chronic kidney disease screening and management, grow the Kidney PATH self-management program, and spread the word about living and deceased organ donation. Previously Ms. Andrews implemented lifestyle change programs at a managed care organization and worked on the state of Michigan’s childhood immunization registry. She received her MPH from the University of Minnesota and her BA in economics from the University of Michigan.
