Jordan Holland, MBA, has 10+ years of consulting experience. Mr. Holland partners with Optum clients to provide clinical and financial modeling and analysis, business intelligence creation and optimization, strategic decision-making through data-driven innovations, and value-based contract optimization. Mr. Holland has historically focused on clients with needs related to value-based transformational change, strategic asset growth and expansion, and managing clinical variation within the health system.

Jordan Holland has supported the development and management of over a dozen Clinically Integrated Networks (CINs) and Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs). Mr. Holland’s clients strive to make sound decisions in value-based care programs to simultaneous transform the delivery and payment of care alongside maintaining financial and operational stability. Mr. Holland has expertise in Bundled Payments for Care Improvement Advanced (BPCI-A), Medicare Shared Savings Programs (MSSP), and Primary Care First (PCF) among other models. Additionally, Mr. Holland has worked collaboratively with provider organizations and payers to develop innovative risk-sharing arrangements. Mr. Holland has also developed over a dozen gainsharing initiatives proven to reduce inpatient costs through physician-driven initiatives and incentives.

Mr. Holland’s analytic and statistical expertise have helped him specialize in complex, customized financial models for health systems navigating value-based payments and developing the IT reporting architecture used to support population health activities. In his client work, Mr. Holland has experience working with a multitude of stakeholders on funds flow models, financial return on investment models, and business intelligence tools and reporting.

Prior to joining Advisory Board, Mr. Holland worked for Select Actuarial Services in Nashville. While with Select Actuarial, Mr. Holland provided consulting services to a multitude of self-insured companies and municipalities performing reserve and forecasting analyses on property and casualty liability lines. He led several innovation projects, including the development of a new pension analysis technique and the implementation of new forecasting methods using open source statistical software, R.

Jordan Holland has published multiple articles and online columns opining on new trends in Value-based Care and CMS innovation programs. He has also been selected as a distinguished speaker at two industry conferences. Mr. Holland earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance, operations and health care, as well as a Bachelor of Music with majors in voice and mathematics, both from Vanderbilt University in Nashville.
