Misty De Lamare
Director of Communications, L.A. Care Health Plan
Misty de Lamare is Director of Communications at L.A. Care Health Plan, the nation’s largest publicly operated health plan, serving more than two million members in Los Angeles County. In this role, she is responsible for the organization's internal and external communications, corporate messaging, community relations, digital properties, social media, media relations, sponsorships program, video production and issues management. She is an inaugural member of the health plan’s Women in Leadership Employee Resource Group and its Mentorship program. Ms. de Lamare joined L.A. Care in 2006 and has held a variety of communications positions. She holds a master’s degree in public relations from Syracuse University.
