Barry Dahllof

Barry Dahllof Jr. is the Vice President - Enterprise Contracting and Payer Relations.

The work of Barry’s role continues to grow in importance as at risk, value-based along with additional progressive payment methodologies continuing to be introduced by governmental, state and managed-care organizations in today’s dynamic healthcare environment. This role plays an integral part in the important decisions to be made to manage risk. He focuses on financial alignment between payer contracts and the evolving Christiana Care clinical care delivery model. He manages the contracting process including analytics, contract development, negotiations, pricing and compliance. He is responsible for the facilitation and project planning for certain business development initiatives.

Barry has held a succession of increasingly responsible administrative and managerial roles at Christiana Care Health System over the past 20 years. In addition to being a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and Institute of Management Accountants, he is an active member of the Delaware Center for Health Innovation Payment Reform Work Group and was appointed to the American Health Council in 2016.
