Chris Simmons

Chris is the Vice President of Clinical Analytics at Pulse8 and is responsible for oversight of Provider Engagement Services and Quality Products. He is considered an expert in Provider Engagement and Provider Education strategies to improve Risk Adjustment gap closure and improvement of performance in Quality programs. Chris brings two decades of clinical experience in Family Practice, Urgent Care, and has worked in a variety of hospital systems. This former Navy veteran is a practicing clinician and brings a wealth of clinical knowledge and a unique bedside perspective. As an educator, Chris previously severed as the Clinical Program Director at University of Maryland, Graduate School, Family Nurse Practitioner Specialty Track (which has consistently rated a Top 10 program by US News and World Report) and has served as a preceptor and mentored well over 150 aspiring clinicians. In health information technology, he is a considered an expert in clinical inferencing rules and population targeting. Chris earned his Masters degree from the University of Maryland and post graduate certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I am Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
