Michele is a registered nurse and is board certified in gerontological nursing. Her 35-year nursing and healthcare career has provided extensive experience beyond clinical nursing which encompasses diverse audit activity, quality assurance, and compliance. Michele joined Humana in 2007. During her tenure with Humana, she held positions in managing Medicare utilization and care management teams, quality auditing, process design & improvement, and she currently is the Associate Director, Healthcare Services- Compliance & Risk Management. She and her team lead Home Solutions audit activity including CMS audit readiness and audit execution, risk management, SNP compliance, and SNP governance activities.
