Laurie Adams

Laurie Adams is the Founder and Executive Director for the BABY & ME - Tobacco Free Program. She has 25 years’ experience in tobacco cessation work. As a Tobacco Treatment Specialist and under her direction, BMTFP has been implemented nationwide in 21 states, and is established as an evidenced-based perinatal/postpartum tobacco cessation program. BMTFP has been published in three national journals as an effective way to reduce tobacco use and improve birth outcomes. Previous to her current role, Laurie worked 15 years with the NY State Tobacco Control Program in NY State.
