Jason Langheier

Jason Langheier, MD, MPH, is the CEO and Founder of Foodsmart – the leading telenutrition platform designed to make eating well simple and affordable. Though Dr. Langheier has experience with medicine, pediatrics, nutritional epidemiology, neuroscience and founding digital health companies, his blue collar upbringing in Western New York where obesity-related chronic disease is high--and being a beneficiary of food stamps and free school lunches--guides his focus on healthy equity and sustainable prevention. Foodsmart combines the largest national network of registered dietitians, personalized meal planning and the broadest food marketplace to yield consistently healthier food choices, lasting behavior change and long-term results.

Langheier received his MD from Duke and his MPH from Harvard, and later helped found the pediatric obesity clinic at Boston Medical Center. He is an active member of the Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA) Board of Directors, and loves hiking, sports and music with family and friends.
