Traci Pekovitch is a TN state- licensed professional counselor, graduating from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville. She received her undergraduate degree from Greenville University in Greenville, Illinois. Traci has spent the last 20 years working for the Mental Health Cooperative in Nashville, TN in a variety of capacities; most recently serving as the Program Manager of Specialty Teams. Her current responsibilities include management of MHC’s Homeless Services Program and the Behavioral Health Safety Net Program at MHC. Traci has long been active in the community participating as an active voting member of the community’s Continuum of Care and the served on the Ryan White Planning Council for five years. Traci is a state-commissioned Mandatory Pre-Screener and a Certified Trainer and Instructor in Therapeutic Options, a non-violent de-escalation curriculum. Traci has participated in many task forces designed to serve the low-income or vulnerable populations, most recently serving as a member of the Mayors Task Force on Competency and Well-Being. Her interests outside work include, jigsaw puzzles, attending sporting events, photography and doing anything with her dog, Ryman.
