Joe Twardy

Joseph Twardy serves as Chief Transformation Officer and Executive Vice President of Health Plans for Nascentia Health. He is a proactive senior executive with over 20 years of health care experience. He has success in both provider based and managed care, orchestrating turnarounds, negotiations, building of value based payment infrastructure, development of high-performing leadership teams, ensuring quality excellence and designing and building innovation.
Prior to his current position, he has served as the Vice President of Managed Long Term Care at Fidelis Care of NY / Centene Corporation, President and Chief Executive Officer at Visiting Nurse Service and Vice President of Post-Acute Services for Ellis Medicine (concurrently).
Joe received a Master of Business Administration from the State University of New York and his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Liberty University.
Professional and Civic Leadership roles include Board of Director at Home and Community Based Associations and several Community Programs. He has also participated in many New York State Department of Health workgroups including Affordable Housing, Value Based Reimbursement,
Regulatory Relief, Home and Community Based and Health Home and Managed Care Organization.
