Sharon Alford

Sharon is responsible for business development, product development for all partnerships, and P&L. Prior to Joining VSP, Sharon held the position of Vice President of Carrier Relations, Sales and Plan Maintenance for the Quotit Corporation, a division of National General Insurance now owned by Allstate. She was a member of the executive team and was one of the first hired to build one of the first national we- based insurance broker firms for Commercial, Medicare and Ancillary health plans. Sharon was responsible for contracting and implementation of all National, Regional, Individual, Family and Medicare Insurance health plans. She also managed the National Sales team and Quotit’s software Plan Maintenance Department.

Sharon has also worked at Dynamic Healthcare Systems as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Dynamic Healthcare is a market leader in integrated, enterprise level software systems for Medicare Advantage and Commercial Exchange Health Plans. She was in charge of business development and revenue for Medicare Advantage and Medicaid Health Plans for professional services and all software products.

In addition, Sharon worked at American Specialty Health for nine years as the Director of National Health Plan Sales. Her responsibilities included business development, sales, and product development to all commercial,

Sharon has her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from California State University, Fullerton. Her passion outside of work is owning and riding horses.
